White gauges installation help..

Hey guys.. I got a set of NR white gauges from my fiance for my b-day, but I can not find any install instructions anywhere. I have already done a search on installuniversity.com but could not find anything. Does anyone know where I can get some instructions so I can download them? Thanks guys!!

First turn on your car and mark where all the needles are pointing, be as exact as possible. Then take out the two screws that hold in that black piece above the steering column. That plastic piece snaps out have to pull it a little hard. Then you will see how the clear plastic lens is held in, take out the screws holding it in. I then took out the gauges (they just pull out) but I think you can do it without taking them out. Then you pop off the needles, be careful and remember which ones go where. Then peel off the stock overlay. Put on your white face gauges. turn the car on and put the needles on where you wrote down they go (first step). The speedo was the hardest one for me to get exact. Then one day I got pulled over and he said I was going 60 in a 35 and sure enough my speedo said 60.

Also be aware of how the odometer reset button goes back.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to just go out there and see what it would take to pull the stuff apart and I think I figured most of it out. Only gauge I am not sure of is my gas gauge.. Oh well, I am going to buy a TA bezel soon and when I do I will go fill the car all the way up and then I should be able to make sure the gas gauge is right.

The gauges aren't real exact anyways, when I fill up my gas my gauge says I have five quarters of a tank(no, that is no typo, five quarters). The needle isn't off because then my car wouldn't be running after burning four quarters of the tank. So when I get through four quarters of the tank the car still has a 1/4 left.

I wonder how many RPMs I am really doing.
