Exclamation Whisper Lid w/ Broken Tab, Functionable?

I found a guy that wants to sell me his Whisper Lid that has a few miles on it. He want's $60 for it. The only thing wrong is that one of the tabs is broken off. I haven't seen any of these lids in person but will this make the lid not function properly, or will it still work the way it is supposed to?

Thanks

ok, for $60 i wouldnt buy it, because what if your taking it off or putting it on one day and brake the other tab on the same side? then you really are screwed.

No it wont work. But you should give me his number to Check it out

It should work as long as all tabs on one side arent missing. You can probably fabricate one easily to.
