Are you sure you got that O-Ring seal in correctly between the PU tube and pump?

I have an ARE ported pump on my '98 and I see 45 at hot idle and 65+ at anything over 3K

 

My oil pressure is at 70-75 constantly. I just got my oil changed about a month ago with Mobil One 5w-30, but I'm not positive if they changed the oil filter or not. I might have a clog? I thought I might also have an oil pump problem. I've suspected bad fuel injectors and spark plugs in my car and the alternator needs to be replaced but these arent really related to freakin the hell out of me when the oil goes up like that and doesnt go down. WHATS WRONG????? At start it goes up to 70 or so then doesnt come down till you turn it off.
