they say dr's gain you .5, tc=.5, ls6 intake (vs ls1) .1, ssra .1, 3.73's (vs 2.73's) .5, lt's .3
i dont see a car running 13.5 getting those mods and running 11.5
btw greed, this statement has nothing to do with your quote, just throwing that out there. some people would take it as arguing. im not.

*inside joke, no g*y stuff there folks*

F13 or F14 are great cams.. The F-13 drives just like stock until you punch it

my buddy has an 03 cobra lighly modded (exhaust, cold air ..etc.) he cant drive the thing at all, he ran a 13.3 1/4. If youre racing a stock cobra the best thing you can do is just make sure you can drive your car.

ive raced my cousins 04 cobra with my 2000 ss and walked him many times from dig to roll-ons.(mods in sig)ive even raced with me driving his cobra against him driving my ss and hes beat me, cobras are friggin tough to get to hook up with that irs and suppercharger puttin power down low with stock tires, grantit ive do have some mods done to my car but ive had no trouble beatin stock 03-04 cobras digs or roll-ons
so the best key is hook up well on the launch get a good set of tires cause if hes stock you should be able to put like a car or 2 off the line and lt's should give you enough power to hold him off through the 1/4 gl if you race post the results
Re: what does it take to beat a cobra?
dont be a hater..... im no expert but the power from a cam will probably make you lose more traction since there is obviously more power turning those wheels.... maybe an idea for more traction could be some Drag Radials or Slicks.... suspension mods like LCAs and SFCs it all helps.... giving more power to your motor doesnt help with traction
