Upgrade to a 2002 and become a good driver hahahaha.

 

A big cam with supporting bolt ons can net you 400rwhp, enough to deal with a lot of Cobras out there. For more seriously modded ones you'd need a head swap, nitrous, or even SC/Turbo.

Any in the 23x/23x range ones I'd say. People have hit 400rwhp with a few different cams on stock heads.

heads/cam maybe a shot of nos to run with the pullied Cobras. If it is a whipple/KB Cobra, you'll need FI/NOS

 

well im gonna run a 03 cobra and he is completely STOCK right now. so im thinking maybe with a good size cam ill take him? what u guys think i should do?

 

100 shot will do him in.

 

the TSP torquer or the 233/239 cam with stock heads and your mods (lid, LS6 intake, LTs) should put down right around 390-400rwhp with a dyno tune.

mate that to a sticky set of tires, some lower control arms, maybe brackets...and you should have traction and hp enough to waste most cobras.

maybe also look into the FM13 or FM14 cam from www.futralmotorsports.com

or if you really wanna go crazy the RJ cam. Kraest put down 415rwhp on his C5 with bolt ons and that cam, and that's through the vette drivetrain.
