Post What to bolt on next????

I Have a MTI Carbon Fiber Air Lid w/ a K&N and a 80 series Flowmaster (which I am not happy with,Too quiet) I would like to know if buying an SLP Loudmouth would be worth the money? Or what should I do that would be most effective with a $400-$500 budget to increase horespower?

Thumbs up

If that's your budget, then for the best bang for your buck go with a cam and lifters/valve springs. Guaranteed 20-30 hp increase! BTW, Loudmouth will definately give you that rumble you want!!

2001 T/A WS6, K&N, SLP lid, Flowmaster catback, A4 tranny, best time of 13.24 with Mickeys!! Lookin for more!!

I disagree, with a 400-500 dollar budget a cam is NOT the way to go..Unless your going to put headers on too, plus instalation, plus computer reprograming(A MUST if you have the A-4) you are WAY over your budget.
Get the headers, then save and put 4.10 gears,if you have the M-6, or get a torque conveter if you have the A-4
Just my o2

Get a cut out. Only $50 and if you don't like it put the cap on. I haven't put the cap back on mine yet, and I have had it for over a year. You won't regret it.

Swap the 80 series for a 40 series Flowmaster. That and/or the cutout.
