vibration @ 100+ mph
Re: vibration @ 100+ mph
I think I know the answer to your vibration at 100+mph. Since you have upgraded your rear end to 4.10's your driveshaft now spins at a much faster rpm at 100 mph than it did with your stock gears. The stock aluminum LS1 driveshaft is only good for a ~7,000 rpm critical speed. After that critical rpm speed your driveshaft's structural integrity isn't what it is at say 3,000 rpm. Believe it or not the driveshaft actuals start to "flex" around or over it's critical speed rating causing a vibration. I had a buddy that used to work over at Lingenfelter's and he said if you are having high speed vibrations and all other variables are ruled out (pinion angle, tire balancing, alignment, gear install errors, etc.) a carbon fiber driveshaft will fix the problem. A carbon fiber driveshaft was ordered (~$800) and all high speed vibrations were gone not only on my car but my buddies car too!!! That is my $.02.

Re: vibration @ 100+ mph
could it possibly be your torque arm mount? thats what i think it is on mine, whenever i give it gas it stops. so i think that whenever the rear end dosent have a load on it the torque arm is just vibrating a little bit. mine klinks and makes noises when i put it into park and sometimes when i stop also
