No f-bodies dont have traction control.. it's an optiont to get. when you have it, you can turn it off.

Hey i said it possible to just not have a switch, however it would be the only car in exisitance that way. Your the one that was getting pissed off because of what i said.

I really do not need to try and convince everyone what i know and dont know..

Common kids, let's all sit down in the circle, hold hands, and forget about our differences!

Phantom, I am not saying you don't know anything, but you have posted the same thing four times. I can't find where you said it was possible not to have the switch, only just the switch, the switch. I did not buy the car new. Someone else owned it and I bought it from a car lot who warrenties there cars outside the manufacturer warrenty. That leaves an awful lot of people who have had their hands on it. I don't know if some came with a TC and no switch nor do I care. I just want my car to run the way it should without haveing this annoying cut out when I spin the tires. If it will ever quit pouring down rain I can go and look.

Well, 2 of 3 dealers wouldn't do it. The 3rd one said yes and told me to givem a hour because they were really busy. So I called back right before i had to leave and they still hadn't got to it. Just recalled and they took my name and number to call me back. Guess they are tired of me calling. I did go look under the hood and it does go straight to the TB. Now I just don't know, besides it's to late to do anything anyway. I don't plan on crawling under that nasty dripping mess so I don't know about the pumpkin.

since its raining.... take the car to a secluded area, put it in 1st (or 2nd hee hee hee), rev the car to 4,000 rpms, and dump the clutch.
if the car doesnt sit there boiling the tires off i think youve got something bigtime wrong with your car. if the clutch isnt going up in smoke maybe its the ignition or fuel pump or??

Well it is a auto so there goes that....
I still don't know what it is. When it was raining, you spin the tires a bit, it bogs and recatches. Then it will regain power. Scares the hell out of Dee because of the hard catch. I am just going to take it to the dealer, shes only got 6k miles on her. Besides the dam window molding is leaking up by the T's. Hit a laser wash this morning and water came down both windows. Also it sounds like it has piston slap, so maybe when the tires break loose it is setting of the knock sensor? I was lead to believe that piston slap was normal in these cars. Either way, I still don't know. Let the dealer earn their money.

Or you could check the build sheet or RPO codes to see what options your car has installed??

Just a thought????????
