Traction Control Logic Module

Well, I was hoping to get one of these to turn off the traction control in my 02, but after reading this I am a bit annoyed..
SLP Traction Control Logic Module, 1999-2001 F-body (will not work on 2002 models)
Does this mean all brands will not work on a 02 or just SLP's model? If it doesn't, there is no way to turn it off?

if you dont have the switch to tturn it off.. you dont have it..

lol

the logic modual plugs into switch so when you start the car it defaults the traction conttrol to the off posistion.

it wont do you any good if you dont have the switch, cause you dont have traction control

Ok I am pretty sure... that when you spin the tires and the engine bogs and the little light that says traction lights up, you have traction control..... Maybe wrong here but it seems a pretty solid guess. Yes, I understand now the module plugs into the switch on the 99-01 and several sites have them listed as 02 as well. I have called the companies that offer them and have gotten a yes it will work, and a no it won't. The no's where the same case you have stated and the yes's where the box says...

So I am back to the original question. Are the switches different, or maybe the wires are back there and it installs differently. Anyone have a 02 that has seen this?

sorry, i'm a bit confused - do you or do you not have a TCS (traction control) button? i was under the assumption that if your car were equipped with traction control, you would have this button. if you do have the button, then i have not heard any bad press on any other company's logic modules (which simply turn TCS off when you start the car instead of you having to turn it off manually, i.e. the button). if you don't have the TCS button, then i'm dumb b/c i thought any 4th gen with traction control has the button.

WOW your right!!

I figured out the light on the dash was god ****ing around with me and the bog down was the alignment of the stars causing a solar flare in the sun effecting the gravitational pull of the earth directly around my car!

If anyone can help, please do so. If you just want to argue about what is on my car then just please say it to yourself and save me from having to read it......
