I would have to remove the other bearing also. What if that one doesn't come out?!?! I will probably try to get a bearing puller.

Last time I listen to you........j/k. I appreciate the info

If you run a bar through to knock it out there's no way it won't come out. I gave mine one good wack and it popped right out.

If anyone cares.... thw problem went away after putting all of the car back together. I don't know what I did..... Maybe it was the crowbar, slide hammer, or blowtorch, but whatever it was, the sqeuaking is gone. Now if.....when the bearing fails, I have a nice new one to take to Midas and put in.

This is a good lesson, if something is making noise, hit it really hard until it stops

Thanks norcalstreet for trying to help!

Well, glad I could be of service... I guess.

How far is Auburn from San Francisco?

You think that thing is covered under warranty? My car does the same thing and same wheel. However, when I lightly apply my brakes it seems to go away. I'm going to check out the brakes hoping to fix it.

Yes thats exactly what mine does. It goes away when applying the brakes, even very lightly.

P.S.: The squaking came back and is about the same as before. The massive amounts of grease I put on the bearing probably helped until it was washed away by the gear oil. I also in the attempted replacing, swaped the brake pads from the left side to the right. I don't think its the brakes. And It does it with my new rotors..... Let me know what you do and if it works.

Norcalstreet: Yes I put wheel seal back in, a new one, since I destroyed the old one removing it. I also put some gasket maker around the edges.

Well I'm going to mess with the left rear brake on Friday. I don't know if I'll replace the rotor, but I may replace the pads. It sounds like a clip or something on the pad. However, it very well may be the rear bearing. In that case I'll take it to the dealership. Of course they'll try and say it's the brakes and charge me for replacing them. So I'll replace them and tell them it didn't work and to check the bearing.
