Some insight please

Ok guys, I have the preditor reprogramer. Is it worth it for me to get the transgo shift kit? I do plan on getting a conv, thought I'd get the kit first, then conv, save alittle$$ ya know. Changing the shift points, pressure, enough w/ pred or no?

Re: Some insight please

I had the shift firmness raised using my Hypertech (to the "100%" setting) but now I have a B&M shift kit installed.....the upshifts feel relatively the same. It takes a bit of work to install a kit, so it's a lot easier to program firmer shifts, and increasing line pressure is supposed to hold all the gears a little better. AFAIK, it shouldn't hurt anything.
