Shorty Header Collector Leak???

I've got a small leak at the drivers side collector on my shorty headers. I was thinking of using a small amount of silicon hight temp RTV on both sides of a new gasket. I've heard that some types of silicon can burn off and hurt the o2's though. Has anyone used a type of silicon to stop a leak? What worked for you?????????

Re: Shorty Header Collector Leak???

I would like to know as well as I have a leak between my stock manifold and ORYP. I ordered two gaskets for that side to see if doubling up would stop the leak. But, I have a feeling it won't.
