98's had the LARGEST injectors and the MOST Aggresive cam of all the years. Yet the later versions 01-02 made more power simply because of the ls6 intake manifold and the ls6 exhaust manifolds.

Yes it is.
the 98s and 01-02 have the same injectors.
the 00-02 have the same exhaust manifolds
the 01 and 02 have LS6 intakes and no EGR But that's not the only reason that they're a little stronger. They also have the revised LS1 241 head castings.
