retarded question.

i bought my 02 z28 used. as far as im aware, there's nothing done to it at all. I've been looking through other peoples' pictures of their ls1 f-bodies, and on their engine pictures, their stock air box is black, with some words on it or something.
my airbox has the gm performance parts logo on it. i was wondering if that has any significance to performance at all, or if it was the previous owner just putting some dumb sticker on their car.
thanks for your input

Re: retarded question.

IF you have the air baffles you still have the stock lid.

That sticker could give some performace benefits depending on color though.
