question about types of LCA's
Well this guy i know who has been helping me with my car is probably going to sell me a set of used poyurethane lower control arms for my SS for $85. I am not sure which brand they are i will find out tomorrow. He also told me that the polyurethane LCA's are the ones that work better for drag racing and the ones that are not are better for handling. I wanted to know if this is true and why its true.
I think its the rod ended ones for drag racing.....
For street/strip applications you should look at poly/rod setups.
All LCAs brands pretty much do the same thing, so I don't think the brand will matter much.
Also note that rod ends make a little bit of noise

Poly LCA's will bind up and act like a larger rear sway bar. They need to be greased every couple months. Cheap rod ends make noise; my LG aluminum LCA's and PHB with doublt rod ends do not make ANY noise, and my car is a daily driver/weekend racer. You het what you pay for sometimes.
