Qtp Headers?

Further more why should you have to weld on coated/ stainless headers, doesn't that defeat the purpose of the finish??? QTP should just provide better clamps to avoid these issues. I wasn't aware that QTP coated the y-pipe, which is what I suggested he gets welded. There are 5 seams where leaks can occur looking at the pictures...2 or 3 of which need to be welded. The front part of the y that connects to the headers should be clamped. The next two seems should be welded. The last that connects the y to the i could be clamped or welded depending on personal preference. I don't mean to be an ***, but am I the only one who thinks this is common sense????

I think its common sense. I bolted mine up with the clamps and then a week later i had then welded up.
