Talking Re: Pulling engine

To remove the t56 1. undo the center console in the car undo the rubber boot then take the four allen bolts out of the tail shaft to remove the shifter....2. remove drive line and torque arm.... 3. drain trans plug on the bottom and fill plug on the driver side of the trans case or if you want to just put a plug or rubber glove on the tail shaft to catch the fluid.... 4.remover all plug ins and connectors attached to the trans leave the slave cylinder hooked up. 5. support trans with jack and romove the trans mount bracket from car and mount from trans.... 6.remove the bolts front the bell housing and pull the trans off the bell housing just enoug to get your hand in and unbolt the slave cylinder front the trans... 7. un bolt slave and slide it off the input shaft as you slide trans back.... trans should be out of car and set aside now... 8. tie up slave dont let it hang it will only get in the way.... 9. easly remove bell housing from engine and now you can procede with the engine removal hope this helps if you have any questions i will try to help i have had my t56 out of my car 3 time in a one car garage so i have learned to be good at it........under 2hours in and out

Re: Pulling engine

Done it plenty of times, engine w/ tranny and heads, don't even bother taking the heads off, it'll all come out.
