If you are putting Long tube headers on an LS1 car do you need to use different plug wires, or is the stock location OK? Like with an LT1 you use OVC (over the valve cover) wires...is it the same thing for LS1's?

 

My friend's 02 Z28 has the wires in the same location I think. Plus I dont see how there'd be any need or way to put the wires in a different location from the coils. So I will go with no, you dont need different wires.

Um, I really don't think you have a choice. You can buy different wires but you're going to have use the stock "routing." Which is just from the coil(s) straight down to the plug(s).
