I havent seen a good picture of the Pace setters, but if the O2 sensors are too close to the outlet youll get air in there and it will confuse the crap out of the computer, causing the car to run bad. you might want to put some extensions on them...

Open headers is fun. I had a old 91 Ramcharger 5.9l and got fed up with the restrictive crappy exhaust so I cut it off at the manifolds and had the intention of going right out and getting true duals put on. Well, I got side tracked after doing it and didn't make it to the exhaust shop. So I went all Fri, Sat, Sun, and most of Mon with open manifolds. It was loud as hell, people always gave me strange looks. It sounded incredible when you got on it though. The drive through at taco bell didn't like it and the drive through at comerica bank really didn't like it.

I drove my old lt1 like that and it was awesome. Never hurt anything. That is the first thing the guy who now has it said, that I would burn up my valves that way. i have had many vehicles like that and never had a problem.

thats not the same as open headers. I have a cutout, and believe me, there is no way they are the same thing if you hear em.

yeah i agree with GoFast908Z. I had just a cutout before and now I have LonGtubes with ORY and the cutout at the end of the ORY which is basically open headers and the sound is no where nearly the same. Cutout sounded raspy and had alot of drone. LongTubes sound so bad a$$ it seems like a drag car.

Like mentioned before, you should atleast put 12"-18" extensions on if you are gonna run open headers. That way you dont take the chance of getting fresh air on your 02 sensors and having them wig out on you.
