oil pressure

should i be concerned with my oil pressure. fully warm in gear is about 25-30 psi but never below that. as soon as i'm in the throttle it goe to about 40 and seems to go up according to rpm. but the 25-30 at idle just has me wondering. the 350 i had im my monte carlo idled about the same in gear but that was accptable to me. i don't know much about the ls-1 and was just wondering.

I was always led to believe high oil pressure is a good thing...

25 psi at idle warm is fine. Even 15 psi at idle warm wouldn't bother me.
What you need to look for in oil pressure is changes from normal for your car.
If it always had 25 then dropped to 20 I'd start looking.

High oil pressure "can" mean that something is blocked and not flowing the amount of oil that it should be.

There still shouldn't be such a variance in pressure. All LS1's should be within a certain tolerance of each other. I do think that 20-25psi is on the low side. And 15psi at would have me worried.

Even my Z24 with 165,000 miles runs a steady 20-25psi at idle and 65-80psi when I am driving.
