Question No Idle, no codes?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what's wrong with my car. It is off the road for the winter. I decided to run it yesterday and found the battery was dead. Recharged it and and it would not start until I gave it some gas. It runs but will not idle. The MIL light did not come on. I let the car run for about five or 10 minutes about 1000 RPM and gradually brought the idle down. The engine starts to surge and drop and eventually stalls.

Is it possible that the PCM lost it's custom tune while the battery was dead? Car has cam, pushrods and springs, rear o2s deleted.
When I hooked up the charger I heard a relay cliking for about one minute until I upped the amps from 2 to 6.

I imagine the batt might have been dead for two to three weeks? The car was exercised in early Jan with no issues whatsoever. Would the IAC go bad on an engine with about 7000 miles? Why no codes?

I appreciate all comments and suggestions.

BILL

I had my batt unhooked overnight once to reset the computer. The next morning when I started it up it would not idle, but after running for about 10-15min it was okay. My car is stock though. I don't know if you lost your custom tune but it's possible. Good luck figuring it out.

Go to the LS1.com main page and follow the link to the mods page. There you should find instructions for idle relearn jprocedure.
