Question Need help on 1LE springs

Hi Everyone;

I have a 2001 Z28 (not SS), and I want to install stiffer springs, however I would like to keep the vehicle at stock height.

The springs I was thinking of getting are from a 1998/99 LS1, front-#22132887, rear-#22132889.

My question is will the 1LE springs lower the car from the stock height Z28 (not SS)?

Thanks in advance.

1LE springs will not lower it at all. They actually sit a little higher in back than the stock springs. A great, inexpensive suspension is Bilstein HD shocks, 1LE front springs, stock rear springs, and 1LE front (32mm) and rear (21mm) sway bars. 1LE lower control arms are also an inexpensive step up from stock control arms.

This is what my '98 1LE Z28 looked like:

I have the 1LE suspension package with D/A koni shocks and man this car could handle but I ended up lowering my car so I have some 1LE springs just sitting in my garage. I sent you a PM on them.
