i was told i should get spacers, but i only need them in the back, can i do that? I need spacers for the rear zo6 rims i got, with 56mm offset, front is 54, front is fine tho, back rubs , will it ride or look off if i get the 1/4 inch spacer just in the back?

 

I got ZO6 wheels too, 18X9.5 front, 18X10.5 rear. I didnt need any spacers, no rubbing, put them right on no problems.

 

ok well for some reason, mine are, u have little tires, 275? thats why yours fit. either way, do you know what i mean, will it look weird or no? i took off my wheels, and u can see on the tire and inside wheel well that it is rubbing

 

Yea, you should probably go with the 5/16 spacer, which is what most people use with the 295's and work pretty well. And how are your studs, are they long enough, sometimes you need longer ones, b/c stock ones only thread 75% in some cases. And I dont think the offset will look out of place or anything.

I'm getting 17x11 in the back with 315's and 17x9.5 in the front with 275's. I know I'll probably rub, I'll need the BFH mod though And possibly some spacers. I'll also lower it about an inch as well.

 

BFH mod include hitting my frame, cus thats where mine rubs

 

They go for around 750 i think, got mine on sale for 600.

 

about how much to get that painted, im thinkin about getting the ss spoiler, and maybe ss hood, or the one you got, that thing looks sick

 

Yea, both hoods are major improvements over the plain stock hood. I bought the SS spoiler about 4 months ago and the Ram Am hood about 2 months ago, still sitting at the body shop, the guy keeps on telling me he's busy and all kinds of BS. I finally got him to comit to 3/14 to finish the job. Anyway I think the paint job will be in the range of $500-600, just a guesstimate though. Another sweet hood is the Ultra Z, which is pretty rare to see.

 

Why are you using so much tire on a car with no power? Is it a looks thing? If so, why are you posting on the LS1 section and not in the V6 section. Not to sound mean or anything, just that I dont personally agree with putting that much tire on a car that wont need it.

Most LS1's dont need that much tire.. takes some serious modding to need more than the stock rubber.

 

wow, well since i needed to know, i posted here, v6 tech, and suspension also, im throwin on a turbo in the next 8 months, got a sweet deal on the rims. im 18 also, whats ur insurance? not as much as mine i bet, what do you do? somthin that pays u more i bet, what im getting at is, i know my car doesnt have the power like the ls1, so i just have fun with what i got, no need in tellin me it has no power. but then again, that ss last week thought different..... later
