btw, there are a few LS1s aound here with stock motors running 11s. With alot of stall, gear, bolt ons, tuneing and weight reduction you would be suprised.

you may not even need a lot of weight reduction. i'm almost positive i could go 12.0s on the setup i have now. my car was full weight minus the back seat on that 12.11 pass on a 17 inch drag radial. i've got a friend with the same mods as me plus front HALs and slicks (both of which are soon to go on my car) running 11.70s @ 113 (CRAZY 1.500 60 foot!)
the fifty fastest stock internal LS1s are ALL deep in the 11s. i hope to join the club soon.

BTW, you might want to get SFC's if you don't already have them. And what was your raceweight on your 12.11 run?

I'm not an LT1 hater though, almost bought one over the summer, and they sound better, but just don't go quite as well.
BTW, what part of Indiana are you located?jason

car weighed in at 3400 full weight - 20 for the back seat. add in 145 pounds for me (yep i'm pretty light) and i come up with a RW of about 3525 pounds give or take a few.
17 inch drag radial, only suspension was LCAs/PHB and pulled front swaybar. the converter was a TCS 3400 2.5 STR.
i'm looking to pick it up a little with the new vig, 15 hp out of my tune plus some front HALs soon.
