i live in cali, so i'm sure i wont see below 40 anytime soon. so i think im fine with 10w.

 

yeah 10w 30 is fine for anyone who worries about engine oil, unless you drive in very cold temps.

 

Friend's brother who runs the service department at a local Chevy dealership said oil changes are overrated. He reckons that the oils today take forever to break down. The only thing you need to watch out for is that it doesn't get too dirty.

Me? I used to be a Mobil-1 3000 mile changer. Then went to 6000 miles. Now Castrol non-synthetic oil every 3000 miles.

 

Amsoil is expensive but it is the absolute best oil you can possibly buy! Bullet Proof!
