Motor mounts

Where can I buy poly mounts for the motor? I'm installing LT's soon and would like to keep the movement of the engine to a minimum.

Steve at www.spohn.net has them for $39.00/pr. He carries Prothane 7-508.

I only see solid motor mounts and poly trans mounts. I searched the part # and at BMR Fabrication 7-508 is for LT1, 7-512 is the LS1 and both are $59 each pair.

That could be the wrong part number but check this post out. Steve said he has them for $39.00 for LS1.

The correct Prothane number for LS1 is 7-512.

how much do these mounts keep the motor from torqueing up? i'm having trouble with my orp hitting my frame, maybe the poly mounts will keep some of this to a minimum.

any help in this area?

I've seen several post that this solved the headers/ORY banging or rubbing problems. Figured I'd fix it before and not have to worry about it later. Not that it will always work, but at least I don't have to try it later if I have a problem.
