Miles on your LS1's....
45,4xx miles.
Takes one quart of oil between oil changes (3-4K miles). Other than that...
Just hate to drive it almost 60 miles a day and see all the miles piling up...
Bought it 4.5 months ago w/only 35,8xx miles.
I desperately need a daily driver...
But I LOVE to drive it, though, so what the heck...

81,285mi here. Almost 60K of those are on the current cam, and almost 70K of that is on these heads (3 sets of valvesprings). Burns a bit of oil, like many. Complete original PCV system. Managed 29mpg on a 3500mi roadtrip a month ago.
- Slight pinion seal leak
- I think I need new engine mounts
- Aftermarket wheels (purchased for 95 TA) are starting to show some wear
- Needs a new steering wheel. It's delaminating along the top-half of the outer edge
- Needs a new differential. Found a broken spider tooth last week.
There are other minor things that just come with the miles, but those items will be addressed next. Yeah, I've broken some things. That stopped when I stopped racing at the strip...and that's OK by me

28K on my 02' Z
I bought this car in september of 01'. It had 6 miles when I bought it. I have had ZERO mechanical problems with this vehicle. By far the most reliable and dependable car I have had...
Besides the constant maintenance, which at times can be cost consuming, Its been well worth the $25K sticker price. My only concern is that I have racked up too many miles on it. Luckily, my 67' camaro is almost completely re-stored and I will start to pound miles on that one and take it easy on the Z...
Curious to know how much miles 02' Z owners have racked up on their camaros.

Mine has 40k on the ticker and is now pretty much a garage queen during the week and driven only on nice days. I have yet to have any problems with oil consumption. Had the water pump housing replaced at about 33k miles and the complete 36k mile servicing just before the warranty expired.

I've got to stop driving so much.
Ive gotta 99 m6 z28 with 49,xxx miles no oil consumption to date
Mobil 1 10w30 fully synthetic all the way
Do for an oil change in another 1500 miles let you know the outcome then
No major problems mechanically
Had to replace the bearings in the rear around 46,000 or so but the gears were still immaculate, just bad bearings I guess or hope
