51,150 miles and counting. No oil consuption that I am aware of and so far nothing has gone wrong although I got the car used with 48,000 miles on it so who knows what work the previous owner had done.

Talking 49,500 here !

Been using about 1/2 quart per 3K since I bought it 2 years ago w/ almost 24K on the clock.

I attribute some of that to the 2800 stall converter - it revs more than a standard A4 would.

Minor glitches so far - rotors warped, t-top rattles, idler pulleys gone bad, trip meter on the instrument panel resetting in cold weather, POS O.E.M. battery leaked thru the positive terminal , and low coolant sensors ( on the 3rd, an it acts up if the temp outside is less than 70° ).

All minor stuff.

I did buy an extended waranty (aftermarket) just in case, though.

46K and have just found oil coming from around the tranny to engine connection point. But was advised to check the intake manifold.

22K and it burns just over 1 qt every 3,000 (and I baby the thing). Best part is, GM Warranty says anything less than 1 qt per 2,000 miles is considered "acceptable" and won't fix it.

Yeah see, I read an article that said they were designed that way for a reason but it coulda been GM propganda...I was like you designed it to consume oil

30000 kms or 18000 miles and it burns about a litre or oil very 5000kms or almost a quart every 3000 miles. otherwise no problems yet.

I tried the 10w30 but it did not make a difference. Mobil synthetic. My engine will consume oil the closer to the oil needing to be changed. Just turned over 90000kms.

32k. Purchased it with 28K, so I only put 3K on in a year. Should be even less as time goes on. I'm in D.C. and my car's in South Dakota Damn insurance

As far as the condition, no probs except the usual window motors going bye-bye. Oh well, it happens....

82000----I have a couple of interior trim issues because a lot of the plastic parts are so small and frail. Also have a rhythmic "rub" sound in the rear....no change with new tires. Eventually Ill address the issue. Other than that----engine is impecable.
