Question This might be a dumb question to some.

What is the stock hp and tq on my 98z 6-spd? Hey I don't know I'm new to the Chevy world. I have always been a Mustang guy until I rode in a SS.

Even with the different cams, manifolds and intakes GM used most LS1's have 350 flywheel HP.

Any publication on your car will list it as having 305HP/335TQ, but like CODY BEHNKE said, most LS1s make around 350HP at the motor.

When you start reading around on this site and in guys' signatures, you'll see that many cars dyno over 300 HP at the rear wheels stock, which means that obviously the motor is making more than that based on drivetrain loss of "roughly" 15%.

It's a real pi$$-off for those Mustang guys who barely make ~200 rwhp stock!!!
