I don't agree with the better stereo part. My friend bought a new 05 GTO and it doesn't sound NEAR as good as my stock monsoon. He has a Z28 besides the goat and this was one of his complaints. I must say though, the weak stereo wouldn't keep me from buying one. That's not hard to change, and it is a nice car.

Coincidentally I was just drooling over a sweet 05 GTO the other day, I'm of the opinion they're a badass car. Not quite as in your face as a WS6 but the GTO looks pretty darn mean to me... Plus they're marginally faster stock vs stock and supposedly better made, whats not to like??

The fact that the GTO preloads on launch.. now thats uber sweet..
I enjoyed driving them at an autoX course and on a strip.. I dont see a comparison here.. Old car with no warranty vs brand new car with full warranty and an LS2? haha.
