LQX swap questions...
I'm going to be swapping a LQ4 into my car, of course I'm changing the entire top end and MIGHT stroke it but I'm not sure on that yet.
#1. I wanted to know if the LQ4 accessory routing would work in our cars, if not, howcome? I like the idea of having the alternator at the top. Where can I find all the brackets and pulleys for the LS1 routing if necessary?
#2. Although not directly related, my V6 steering is superior to the steering of my Z28. Very easy U-Turns, but still grasps the road quite well. Is there any way I can get the steering radius my V6 had in this swap?
#3. 4L80E, how much power can they hold up to? I'm looking to get about 450 to the rear wheels, and can they be used in F-Bodies?
#4. Wiring Harness - This one here is where I'm really alittle worried. I don't know whether to use the LQ4 wiring harness or the LS1 wiring harness. Also is there any way I can keep my stock 125 MPH speedometer? I want it to be alittle deceiving.. ..when it's not running
