I picked up an LS1 ported TB off of a gentleman who pulled it from a '00 z28, I have an '02 z28. From the info guide http://www.smokemup.com/tech/ls1.php it should be compatible but it clearly has a different throttle body cam (no color on spring). The problem comes when I try to attach the 2nd throttle cable (no TCS car w/2nd throttle cable). The original TB has a smaller attatchment "button" than the ported '00. What can I do to make this setup work? Can I purchase a part or swap the throttle body cam somehow to get it to work? Any hope? I can follow up with pics later but here i a pic pointing to the 2nd throttle cable I speak of.
