Unless he is running a large cam, the LS6 intake will be as good for less than half of the cost of the LSX, not including the new t-body he'd have to get that costs about as much as a LS6 intake .

wow, how did u pull off a trade from a 97 to a 99? Was there cash involved also? Congrats...

 

When I traded in my 97 i still owed about $11,000 on it and I was sick of paying for something that was getting worser and worser -Rear end was going out,Engine was leaking oil, the convertible top would get stuck and the list goes on for the little things.I take the car in to the dealership and the dealer says he will pay it off if i buy the 99SS so i say OK(Quickly) and I end up paying $13,000 for the 99SS which looks 10 times better then the 97 And as far as the down payment i traded in my other car a 97 Honda Accord(Still owed)So i ended up getting rid of 2 car payments and i did not have to put anything down for the 99 so it worked out for the best.
