Wink Just bought $6.00 smooth bellow

I bought the 3" in out Fernco pipe adapter from Home Depot. I doubt it will give a performance gain, but I see alot of guys putting them on their car. I figure for $6 I'd try it. Does anyone have an opinion as to whether it was worth buying or not? Maybe I'll hit 110 now, Fred

i've heard that since it isn't as flexable, it will/can cause the air box to tear out of place or damage the lid due to the engine torquing up.

just a warning

The older one I believe had a hump in the middle this one I just bought is black in color and completely straight. It is 4" long & 3 1/2" inside diameter. Came with two hose clamps. I guess it is the new one, Fred

some modifications will def be necessary. SLP bellows are designed to give, but be a more straight airlow then the acoridan style stock one. I bought something similar to what you're talking about and it worked with my stock lid, but pushed my TSP Lid out of its track. I haven't cut the bellow yet, but I think it would fit.
