How many aftermarket intakes come with egr?? Also How much hp is the ls6 good till?

 

Isn't there a new intake coming out that is supposed to be better then the LS6? There was a post somewhere on her about a week ago...I can't remember the name of it.

 

The only LS6 intakes that come with the EGR provision are ones that have been modded, like the one offered from SLP. The LS6 intake is definitely a nice step up over the standard LS1 intake, especially if you have done any engine modifications. There's definitely still room for improvement, which is why we're all anxious to see how well the LSX intake is going to perform. The only other alternative right now is a custom sheet metal intake that is VERY expensive (can be $2,000 or more) and doesn't fare well on anything less than a large-cube engine that likes to turn some RPM's.
