intake removel

do you have to remove the intake to change cams?

nope...

pull the valve covers, remove rockers, use one of several methods to keep the lifters in place and then remove the cam.

cam/spring swap

maybe the person you're proving wrong thought a head swap was part of that... lol

no he just didn't belive me that to change a cam you didn't have to remove the intake.

on ls1 no like said before but on a LT1 yes you do so mabey he is think of a lt1 or he may think the lt1 and ls1 cam swaps are the same
