My dad wants some info on the truck cam they put in the 01-02 ls1. Anyone got any info/spec. on it?

I think your post is a little confusing, which maybe is why you haven't got a resopnse. Did you mean to say that you want specs (lift, duration, etc) on the cam that is used in fullsize gm trucks (4.8 and 5.3) for the model year 01-02?

 

I think he means the duration/lift on '01-'02 F-body LS1's. When they put the LS6 intake on there,they went to a smaller cam and deleted the EGR.That's why '98-'00 LS1's make so much extra HP when they install a LS6 intake,they have a larger cam.But I have no idea what the duration/lift is.

I just said truck cam cause I remember everyone said it was from a truck or something in a thread a long time ago. Or maybe not and im insane.

 

I can't think of the specs off hand,but like it was said above,Slightly lower lift,but cam makes more torque.The cars hp numbers would have been too big with the LS6 intake on ther so they went with a lower lift.I will try to find you the specs..
