I know this has been asked before, but... ( BMR SFC)

After doing some research I decided to get BMR Tubular SFCs. Let's just say I went through alot to finally get them. They just came in today but there is a problem.... they're boxed not tubular, the receipt shows I paid for tubular but they are the bmr boxed ones. I'm not sure if I really want to go through the hassle of sending them back and waiting again, it just seems like a PITA. What do you guys think I should do? I didn't get the boxed originally because I didn't want to be able to see them and didn't want to lose too much ground clearance. So, basically I'm asking are they "sticking out" from underneath the car if you're just looking at it & do you lose alot of ground clearance with the boxed (my car is not lowered)... someone convince me that the boxed are better.

Thanks.

I have the boxed on my car. You can't see them unless you're around 10' away (I have red on a NBM car). If they're black they'll be harder to notice. As far as ground clearance, mine are about even with the stock Y pipe, and haven't had any issues. The boxed are supposed to be stronger and are more expensive. I guess it boils down to what you want, I specifically got the boxed in a contrasting color so they'd be noticeabe.

Keep the boxed SFCs... It's not like your gonna go off-roading in your f-body. Even if you drop it, I'd be willing to bet you'd have problems with the nose scraping before anything else.
