hooker......

slps are too expensive for what they are

they hang very low my buddy has them and he needs to be very careful

hookers are cheaper and they will have about the same performance gains

SLP only uses 409 SS, QTP and Kooks (the only two that I know of) both use 304 SS, which is higher quality than 409.

With the bends like that they will not flow the same so tuned length is pointless if you have to do bends like they do. I would take a hooker every single day of the year over slp longtubes. I would take the mac 3/4 length headers over the SLP longtubes. I recommend the Kooks headers, but they were not in question here so, If I were you I'd get Hookers.

I have the Hooker LT`s . I got them from summit for 399.99 no shipping charges. They are uncoated and have since rusted but that doesnt bother me. For the price they cant be beat.

I live on long island so I am around water. It didnt take long at all. To be honest I really never gave it too much thought. I dont do car shows so knowbody is poking around under my hood. But if its a concern for you i think its like 125 more for the coated ones. Hope that helps
