Yup. It's ~200 pounds heavier than the LS7 block. :confused: so the ls7 block is 25lbs??:D

i didnt catch that before. its probably more like a 90lb differance like the aluminum 402 vs the iron 408

Would you care to share your source for the weight of the LSX? All I read (and I can't seem to remember where now) is that it's 200 pounds heavier than the LS7.
