Help Identify an LS-1
Doing this for a friend:
I recently purchased a ls1 off of someone. I want to make sure it matches the vin i was given. does anyone know how to decipher numbers from what is supposed to be a 02 ls1? sticker on front drivers side of block = K020570267 around oil filter = H298 and under it 729 block casting number 12559378 any help is appreciated.

This is per http://www.mortec.com/castnum.htm for more info do a search on yahoo or whatever for casting numbers for an LS1
