headers...

will be purchasing some hooker LTs within the next few days. Do they bolt or weld to the y pipe? I hope bolt or else I will be learning the basics of welding 101. I have an slp racing y pipe. Also, how hard is install? Pretty easy from what I have heard, just looking to avoid some common problems I may run into. After the headers I finally get her dynoed!

Lts bolt to the y-pipe. 3 bolts bolt the collector flange to the y-pipe flange. LT install IMO isnt hard, just unecessarily time consuming due to the car's layout. Take your time and dont get too frustrated.

I thought it was a weld for 98-99s and 00and up was bolt on. Just bought them and want to make sure that there is no welding involved. From the picture, it doesnt look like it. Should I bring the headers in from up top under the hood? I heard it is hard to manuever them into the engine bay.
