If I get Long Tube Headers...

I heard with LT's and True Duals your car will not be emmisions compliant... Why is that? I was going to throw some cats after the LT's... Wouldn't that make it emmissions legal?

Also just to make sure, lets say I go with Hooker LT's, Will I have enough room for cats? If not then I may have to choose different headers...

technically moving the cats in any way is illegal.

and since you are relocating them when you install LTs, it is not emissions compliant.

Here in Memphis, TN. all we have is a sniffer test. There is no visual inspection. So, around here, as long as you have a good conservative tune you can pass without emissions equip, even though you may have a mild h/c setup. It just depends on where you live.
