Actually, my all time favorite SS color is Sunset Orange Metallic.
Those cars look IMHO so much tougher w/ that color - can't explain why.
Oh, my mileage is at 53,400 or so - my car was picked up by the original owner in May of '99.
I bought it in July of '01 w/ almost 24K, so I've put more mileage on it than he did.

I know a guy trying to give away a silver '00 SS vert for $17,000. Bone stock car. He's probably never even raced it. Believe it or not, he's not a car guy. Go figure.

As for selling it... I waited for over 2 years for it having the exact color and options in mind. I was going to order it, waited too long and thought I had missed out. Then the only dealership in Orlando that I still will deal with ordered it. I by chance emailed them and they said they had one exactly like I wanted on the way. I was like, "yeah right!" When it came in to town, I pounced. I was there the day it came in and still had the plastic all over it. The next day it was on the showroom floor. A couple hours later I signed the papers. I think I'll keep it.

Theres a 2000 Camaro SS w/ Leather, T-tops with 34k miles on it for 13998$ on a Chrysler dealers lot like a mile from my house. It's black....my iroc has been not working right, I'm thinking about not working on the iroc anymore and just taking a loan out and buying that car. Everyone I talk to keeps saying not to take a loan out at my age (18).....but it's so tempting, I'm tired of my daily driver being a project car.
