Is this a good deal for a 99 SS?

I'm a new poster and fairly new to Fbodies in general. I am looking at buying an SS and came across what seems to be a good deal.

99 SS with 60k Miles
Pewter
Tan Leather
A4
No TTops
Stock
2 Owners
Clean Carfax

for $10,900

I drove it and it runs great. Brand new tires too.

What do you all think?

Wow, I'd jump on that, well that is if it was at a dealer since I have to trade in my current car when I get a Camaro SS. (2 months from now)

Thumbs up

If the car runs and drives fine and has not been in accident etc., I think that is actually a very good price.

Good luck!

Considering that it is a '99 - like mine - and could have been built in late '98 (unlike mine) , I don't think that mileage is extreme.

At any rate, if the car is in good shape - no wrecks, no rust, no wild modifications , then it soundsa like a good deal.

No T-Tops, though.

Good Luck !

For a five year old car the mileage isn't really bad anyways. That's a hell of a price, go get it and come join the fun

Yeah its never been in an accident and was in a stat that required vehicle inspections...so the mileage has been logged frequently.

No mods have been done. I wish it wasn't tan leather and I wish it had ttops...but for 10,900 i cant complain.

If it has argent ZR1 wheels, then it looks the same as mine -

less T-Tops, Camaro fill letters, and Borla exhaust probably.

In other words :

Dayum, it's a good looking car !!

Actually, my all time favorite SS color is Sunset Orange Metallic.

Those cars look IMHO so much tougher w/ that color - can't explain why.

Oh, my mileage is at 53,400 or so - my car was picked up by the original owner in May of '99.

I bought it in July of '01 w/ almost 24K, so I've put more mileage on it than he did.

Sounds like a decent deal to me too. If you're willing to live w/the little things you don't like.

When I first got my car, I wasen't sure about the tan leather interior either, but now I LOVE IT. Guess it has to grow on you, but it's actually nice cause it doesn't get as hot as a darker which you already know...

Good price, mileage isn't bad at all. If the car has a clean record I say go for it. Another thing that would attract me is that it is STOCK, so you know the car hasn't been f*cked with.
