Getting a Camaro
Personally, I like the looks of the Trans Ams much better but it doesn't matter. You want to buy a Camaro whis is perfectly acceptable. As far as the whole, SS/Z28 arguement goes, it comes down to personal preference. The Z28 looks bland and boring, perfect for that sleeper type look. It doesn't turn heads like a WS6 or SS will. Some people like that, I don't. I am a firm believer that our cars are supposed to stand out in the crowd, not become part of it. We have a long heritage, and we should be proud. So to sum it up a bit, if my only choice was between a LS1 Z28 or SS, I would get the SS.

It's too late to change my mind. Plus, I don't think I'd want to. This is the dealer photo of my brand spankin used Z28.

Welcome to the world of the superior LS1.
No, I'm paying $15,995. There isn't much info about it. It's a stock 01 Z28 with 30k miles, piston ring update with only about 20 miles on it since the work to the engine. Automagic trans, cloth seats but all the other options I beleive.

315's on 9.0-9.5" stock rims!!! dang.
I'd be worried that the tires would blow out or wear really bad. That size is really designed for 10.5-12" wide rims. I definitely agree that wider is better! I hope those don't give you problems.

You can tell the size of the tires just buy looking at that off angle picture? I don't know the size of the tires on it right now, but if you're right, dang good eyes.

My Car thinks your car is pretty
I love mine... it is sleeping in the garage now. Congrats on a great purchase ! It is an 01, and some had oil consumption problems so that would be my only real concern, but you got the warranty so you should be all set!
