I wasn't saying that everybody should be getting my car. I was just pointing out that everybody seems to feel that their choice between Z28/SS , MN6/Auto, color, year, TTop/Coupe/Convertible was the only correct one. Just seems humorous that everybody is so dead set convinced that they have the perfect car.

And links are fine:

..... i do have the perfect car.
for me
. your results may vary
.
IMO, anyone who has a 4th Gen LS1 that is in reasonably good shape has the makings of the 'perfect' car (definitions may vary slightly). Regardless of the vehicle, if you throw some money & time at it once in a while, you'll get there. And isn't that half the fun- planning your next mod? Personally, I enjoy the hunt just as much as the kill.
bah, go LT1 and with the money u save, u can run 11's!!!
j/k
if LS1 is what u want, go for a Z28 and with the money u save, buy a nice lid or CAI(will be just as good as SS induction) and exhuast. happy hunting

Well, it's been quite a while since I said I was going to get a Camaro. I kinda strayed from the idea because I figured it would be cheaper to get something more practical. Well, I came to my sences and said F that. I got me a Black 01 Z28 Camaro automatic (i know) t-tops with 30k miles on it. I found a couple SS standard trans's but every one had leather (which I don't care for) and was way more than I wanted to pay. They were also from private sellers and I wanted some kinda warrantee on it. I'll get it on Monday, in the meantime the dealership is detailing the crap out of it for me. Oh and also, I asked about how I heard about the ls1's burning oil at higher rpms and he said that they had did the update to it and there is only about 20 miles on the engine since the work and the entire engine has a 12k 12month warrantee on it. I'm so glad I didn't settle on a econobox or grocery getter.
It's the end of the month and the sales man needed to sell a car. I got it for $15,995 @8.5%. I've been watching the car for a while on this one particualr lot and it's price droped 3k since I first saw it.
