But I hear you benefit more from it if you u have a auto, not on a manual.
I've heard many other ppl go with the predator or ls1 edit.

I've got one for my '02. I think it's a handy little tool........I don't have dyno numbers to compare with/without the "power tuning" option, but I like being able to play with shift points at the track
.
.
I have it and added the 160 stat. I dont know if the tunings helped it certainly hasnt hurt anything. The cars running cooler and that was my main reason for going with HPP. When and if I get some spare change ill prob sell the HPP on ebay and get a Preditor to play with more settings

On my '01 Z28 A4, I picked up 14 RWHP with just the tuning. However, with my M6 car, I don't see much benefit or "seat of the pants" difference.
I'm using mine strictly for calibration of the speedo for the 4.11 rear and the 160* thermostat. If I try to use the power tuning, I get detonation above 4000 RPM at WOT.
But, I got mine free, so I can't complain.

I had some pinging with mine as well until I started running Sunoco 94 on a regular basis then I never heard any detonation at all
. IMO, there was a slight SOTP difference..........not a lot.........but the car did feel "crisper" with the tuning
Besides, I'm not going racing 'til next spring
