Angry crazy idle

Im throwing a p0507 code. While driving down the road and pushing in the clutch the car jumps up to about 2700 RPM's and stays there till i come to a complete stop for about 5 seconds. I thought it might have been a vacuum leak but looked up and down can't find any. Now not sure what to do any ideas

Sounds to me like you need to clean or possibly replace the IAC stepper motor in the throttle body.

my car did this and the throttle position sensor was bad; it threw a code, don't know which one, and sometimes the SES light would start blinking, indicating a misfire... Mine would idle around 2000 rpms for a varying amount of time every time i had to come to a stop, then sometimes it would drop down to normal, sometimes not. The spring in the TPS was bad, and it was reading about 5-10% throttle at all times, causing the car to idle high... maybe check that too. An advance auto store ought to be able to read the code and display what is causing it... good luck
