converters...

I currently have SLP LTs and a hotcam on my car with no cats. Its just a little too loud. Im wondering would it be worth buying some cheap cats to quiet it down? Or would it hardly change the sound.

don't get "cheap" cats. Get some Randoms or Carsound cats. Cheap cats will throw SES codes. Do some research before you decide.

Will they quiet the car down a decent amount though if they were good ones?

cats will quiet u down a little. if u dont still have it, put your stock muffler back on.
